A very interesting experience at the Cotswolds Sculpture Park with over 200 sculptures to look at, with every one also for sale.
Lunch was vegan friendly, freshly made to order and absolutely amazing!
Well worth the visit.
Yes, very nice. A lot more there than I was expecting, and laid out within a lovely woodland setting. Parking was o.k. and the price was sensible. We lost track of the numbers a few times, but that could have been just us. Some very clever designs which, I understand, change every year. A great way of promoting and selling art.
Nice walk with some beautiful sculptures. Mostly flat, gravel, trails. I really enjoyed the various ones made out of mufflers. The turtle made out of tyers was my overall favorite.
So fascinating to see the variable sculptures. Something for everyone of all ages and accessible as well. We were 6 adults from 36 to 68 and 6 children from a 3 month old baby in a pram, to 11 year olds. Great fun 😊
Really lovely garden with a huge amount of sculptures hidden all along the paths. All of the art is for sale so there's quite a range from sort of nice garden decorations to more artistic looking sculptures and lots of different styles. The staff are very friendly and the food in the cafe was really tasty - we had the falafel paninis. It can get busy quickly as it's not huge but it's well worth a visit
Lovely walk around the sculpture park, we arrived just after opening by the time we left around an hour later it was much busier in the car park.
Great spot to wander and spend and hour (or three). Our family of six (with kids aged 3-14) got here right at opening, and spent 3 hours (including eating our packed in lunch).
So many different areas to explore and the digital guide provides a lot more detail. We made it even more engaging by having each person pick one sculpture to write a story about and one to try and reproduce with a drawing.
Well worth our time and money to visit!
Had a very enjoyable time here today, much more to see than I had thought. Plenty parking, toilets was clean, staff friendly. Enjoyed a drink from the tea room, a lovely labrador snoozing in the shade. An inspirational place for artists. We'll worth it in my opinion.
